Divine Victory - In Words

To a warrior, victory may connote winning a battle; to an organized army it may refer to winning a war. To the rest of us, it’s victory when we overcome a challenge; challenge being a relative term here.

In the context of this image, the figure in “Divine Victory” floats in suspended exaltation to a force so powerful it defies rationale as to how the seemingly impossible comes to pass! This painting stands alone in extolling the miracle-like energy that figuratively sweeps us off our feet and acts as a bridge that closes the gap between humankind’s major challenges and the accomplishments that benefit the entire human race.

“Divine Victory” complements “The Awakening” and “Great Expectations” as a threesome suite that is not necessarily a triptych. Each one of the three images is an independent component to the suite but can and does sustain itself on its own.
